Didadi choreography photos
Didadi is choreographed by Diadié Bathily, artistic director. The piece is a traditional dance of Mali’s Bamana people, designed to “celebrate the arrival of an important person often during the end-of-the-year holidays.”
This piece was choreographed for The Performing Arts Department of Washington University Dance Theatre in 2005.
